Planet Dragos by Thea Harrison is a wonderful novella that is part of her fantastic Elder Races series. In Planet Dragos, for the final time, Pia and Dragos are in the forefront of this story. Thea has told us in advance that this is the last time she will devote the future books in the POV of Pia and Dragos. Both of them have been our favorites for a long time, and it has always been a joy spending quality time with them. Pia and Dragos travel to Las Vegas to attend the wedding of Rune and Carling; and with Pia pregnant, her temperament has been noticeable, especially with her having a difficult time with this baby. Dragos loses his cool with Pia, as he too is not in a good frame of mind, with trying to deal with the political machine that refuses to work with him. After Pia leaves for her room, Dragos realizes he needed to talk to Pia, since he felt bad how he talked to her. When he goes to their room, Pia is missing, supposedly off to shop. In a short time, when he tries to call her, someone else picks up the phone, and Dragos finds out that Pia has been kidnapped. All hell breaks loose in Vegas, as the mighty Dragon shifts to find his mate, but he cannot even sense her. When a picture is sent to him, both he and Rune know that Carling has also been kidnapped. They will bring the team together to find them. It was great to see Dragos and Rune reconcile their differences, especially since Rune says that Carling (who has been drained, and is a dangerous Vampyre) will never hurt Pia. They use every available person to search into the past to discover who is behind this kidnapping, and why. The who and why goes far far into Dragos past. Can they find Pia in time to save her and the baby? What follows is an exciting, fast paced, action packed emotional story that will create changes for Dragos and Pia, as well as for Liam and the Sentinels. I read this in one sitting, as I was totally engrossed into the story. What made this so good was the chance to see many of our favorites from previous books make appearances. This is always fun. We also got to see Azrael (Death), who made a visit to both Dragos and Pia separately. Thea Harrison once again gives us another exciting and wonderful story featuring the wonderful romantic couple in Dragos and Pia. Though there will be no more novellas in their POV, I hope we do get to see them in the future books with the other members of the Elder Races. I look forward to seeing what Thea Harrison has in store for us with the changes for the Wyr and the Elder Races.

I will start by stating I am a huge Thea Harrison fan and being given the opportunity to have an ARC of Planet Dragos was appreciated. Initially after reading the book I was somewhat disappointed in Pia’s portrayal in the installment but after further contemplation she was pretty much spot on. I really enjoyed the tie-ins of previous Elder Races characters and the plot was really well done. Dragos’ reactions were very true to character and the future for Liam is wide open. I was concerned this would be the end of this series but Ms Harrison has opened up a whole new world. The conclusion was well done and the communication between Dragos and Pia was very satisfying.

I loved this story! Definitely one of the best that Thea Harrison has written. This is the next instalment of Pia and Dragos's life, full of twists and turns and love and perseverance. I hate reviews that give too much of the story away but I'll suffice it to say that endings are also beginnings, with new chances and opportunities. Pia and Dragos have a come a long way, but still have a hard road to ahead.

The last Dragos and Pia book in their POV and it was truly one of their best. A fast paced read, the story has Pia and Dragos arriving for the wedding of Rune and Carling. Though when it comes to this group, nothing is simple and easy. One of the best parts of this novella was that sooo many characters made an appearance. And important facts from previous novels or novellas, came back here. I always love seeing familiar faces and catching up with other characters, and this novella let us do just that, despite some moments being brief. In this story, Pia and Carling are kidnapped by one crazy Elven and their mates and friends are scrambling to get them back. One of the best things (finally!) is whatever the last bit of tension that has existed between Rune and Dragos has finally come to what I believe an official end. So yay to that! This story also has quite the amount of surprises as well. And sorry no spoilers! Trust me, you don’t want anything ruined!! But! I will say that the story isn’t just a rescue mission. Pia and Dragos also have some decisions to make about their future and it one that is both surprising and very exciting for future books of the Elder Races series. I will miss having books in Pia and Dragos point of view, but hopefully they won’t be gone forever! Which I don’t think they will be. If you loved any of their stories before, this one will not disappoint. It’s short, sweet, action, romance, drama, basically a lot goes on for such a small novella, but every moment is great and none of it rushed. Truly a great closing to their story. Can’t wait for more to come from this world. I received an ARC for an honest review.
