Murder. Heartbreak. Temptation. How far will she go to be reunited with her dead soulmate?

A brutal street attack leaves 18-year-old Lexie Groves seriously injured, and her boyfriend Ashley McKean, dead; all because a group of thugs took exception to the way the Goth couple dressed. Following his funeral, a series of strange sightings and ominous text messages suggest Ash is trying to communicate with Lexie from beyond the grave. But what is he trying to tell her? And why are the members of Finnish rock band - Tell-Tale Heart - so keen to draw Lexie into their sinister world, especially the group's charismatic guitarist, Jack Lane? Her quest to find the truth takes Lexie from her home town of Warrington, to the dark lakes of Cumbria, and the snowy landscapes of Finland. Here she must decide if she is prepared to pay the ultimate price, to find her lost soulmate.
