FIRST OF ALL!!! If you haven't read Delirium you must go and read it right now! It is defiantly one of the best books I have ever read in my life. And this book is not far from it. I received this book from NCTE from Harper! Thank you so much. I could not wait to read this book. For the last couple weeks I have been told that I have to read it. That it is amazing! And boy is it ever. The book starts where the first book finishes. The chapters are split in Now and Then. You are learning about Lena's experiences on finding herself. She is trying to figure out who she is because Lena is not the normal Lena anymore. She is different because she has to be. She is in the Wilds and she is trying to survive. She is learning to do things that she has never done before to pull her weight with the Wilds. I really like that Lauren incorporated this into the story. It showed her struggle with what she had to do. It showed that she was having a hard time dealing with the death of Alex. But during this you find out about Julian. Julian is a very important. He is about to be cured and he is doing it because this is what his family wants. But there are some hold ups because Julian and Lena are kidnapped and held hostage. They are going to do anything to get out and escape to the Wilds. Oh but have no fear....there are twist and turns! Boy are there twist and turns! This is my favorite book of the series so far! I know that we still have book three so I need to wait unit that book comes out to make my decision, but this is defiantly up there for book of the series! Maybe book of the year....but ask me again in December...:)

If Lena picks Julian in the end over Alex Im pretty sure I break my nook in half or if she doesnt decide at all or falls in love with some other person randomly placed in her life I will break something. Pandemonium was good though so excited for next book!!!!

Like many of you guys, I desperately want Alex to be alive. I have high hopes for this book and yet im so weary of it. What if Alex really is dead? What is its another love triangle? I have had enough of love triangles. I just want Alex and Lena. Ive read the preview of at the end of Delirium. Lena believes that Alex is dead, but I don't. There's a chance he is, but no official confirmation. Ugh, this is driving me crazy. I cant wait!

While waiting for my copy of Pandemonium to arrive I continuously saw reviews that highlighted phrases like "even better than Delirium" and I laughed. Better than Delirium, ha, no such thing. I am elated to announce that I Carole McKenzie, was wrong. Pandemonium is thrilling, captivating, and everything a sequel should be. Thank you Lauren Oliver for creating a series for me to lose sleep over. Thank you for creating a sequel that is so brilliant I need the next book right now before I lose my mind. Oh my, am I going to lose my mind! In Pandemonium we follow Lena through then and now. The then being when she crossed over into the Wilds and now being the present. Each chapter goes back and forth and Lauren Oliver knows where to stop and start each new tale in a way that is perfect. Lena's story is powerful, meaningful, and amazing. The end literally stole my breath away and gave me what felt like a heart attack. This is no little cliffhanger, it is the mother of all cliffhangers. I cried at the end, cried! I will say no more because if you read Delirium you've probably already read Pandemonium or it's sitting on your bookshelf crying for attention. And if you haven't read Delirium I hope i have convinced you to give it a chance, because this series is not one to skip over.

Before reading Pademonium, I have been hearing lots of flack about how others didn't like the book and that the ending was horrible . This book proves to me all the more that not everyone is going to like the same things when it comes to books. Pandemonium centers the story around Lena and her life now that Alex is dead and she is learning to survive in the Wilds. the old Lena has died off in order to survive the delirium that Alex caused within her. It took me a little bit to fully get into the story because it's written in a Then and Now type setting. Then being when Lena first lived in the Wilds , to Now , the events that happened after Lena is strong again. In the Now Lena is surviving the loss of Alex her first love , the one who infected her with the Delirium . Nothing could prepare her for the idea that she might open her heart to another... that she might just infect someone else with the Delirium. Julian becomes an unexpected interest in Lena , but Lena struggles with the thought of giving her heart to another, after all she lost her first love. In this book you get to see the growth in Lena all the more for now not only does she have to survive the Wilds without Alex , but now she has to survive the possibility of falling in love. I will disagree to a point with those that did not like the ending . I myself have a love hate relationship with it purely cause its a cliff hanger and makes me upset that I have to wait so long for the next book. The ending left me with that "Oh Crap" feeling and without a doubt book three will be in my greedy little hands the very moment if goes on sale. So thank you Lauren Oliver for writing such a fantastic book , I will go sit in the corner now and pout until book three magically appears. The is review is of my own opinion I was in no way compensated for it. The review can also be found on Amazon, Barnes and Noble, Goodreads , and the FB page. Enjoy....

If alex is dead i will personally burn every copy of these books and rewrite them myself. Not really. I wil be very heartbroken though. Delirium was great and i expect this one and Hana to be the same. :D

I spent the first book falling in love with Alex and the 2nd falling in love with Julian, and now I am torn!! That ending is going to make me slowly go insane until Requiem comes out next year. Either way, someone is going to get hurt, and that makes me sad. Thank you Lauren Oliver for making these characters so real to me. I have never felt so connected. One of the best books I have ever read :)

Pademonium was amazing! I read it in a day and well it changed my life... maybe that's an exageration, but the book is the best thing I've read since Harry Potter ( well actually since Delirium). When I finished it, I was caught between relief, tears, and wanting to scream! What a cliffhanger! Team Alex all the way! <3

*SPOILER ALERT*I loved this book! Perfect amount of action to balance with the romance! There were endless twists and they really did take me by surprise! I was hoping throughout the book that Alex would come back, but that didn't stop me from liking the fact that Lena found Julian. But as the ending clearly shows, he's back and that made me so happy I almost cried. But honestly, I'm also scared! The book described Alex as "different" and "hard" while Julian is her forever. I have no clue what to expect in the next book. (Not your typical love triangle) I WANT THE THIRD BOOK NOW!!!!!!!! HDSJYYSHFKENMX

The "Delirium" was amazing. I felt the story line was very sneaky. It kind of krept along, subtley intriging and then BOOM it tugs at you heat strings and leaves you haunted for days. Truely a great book. I tear up everytime I talk about it . I am absolutely DYING from anticipation for " Pandemonium ".

Phew. Lauren Oliver really had her work cut out for her in this follow-up to, Delirium. Not only do we see Lana's character grow immensely and really come into her own, but we also see the introduction of an almost entirely new cast of characters. There are so many things that I would love to go into about Alex, Julian, and Lana's mom...but that would be giving away just too many potential spoilers; and it would totally ruin the experience for anyone about to read the book. The book is written in Lana's present reality, but it also flashes back to scenes from her past. Take your time reading this book as it follows Lana from "Now" (as a member of the Resistance in NY) to "Then" (as she rediscovers who she really is in the Wilds). Lauren Oliver packed a lot of punch in this book and, at times, you can almost feel the emotion rolling off of the pages like a thick fog. You will feel the weight pressed against your chest at times during this book because poor Lana is put to so many tests, both emotionally and physically. Let me just say that by the end of the book I was (literally) sitting on the edge of my bed, wide-eyed, and by the last words, I was cursing out loud (and, I will admit I wanted to smack Lauren Oliver - sorry Lauren, I love you!, but that was my first reaction) because the book was over and I cannot believe that Lauren Oliver expects us to sit and wait until February, 2013 for Requiem to come out so we can find out what happens next!!!!!

The story begins with the introduction of the characters the main character is Lena Morgan Jones her original name is Magdalena Haloway and she is described as an Eighteen-Year-old girl who used to live in Portland, Main but now lives in the wilds. Lena has tried to crossed Portland boarders with her boyfriend Alex Sheathes but unfortunately, she was the only one who has made it over. Even though she knows what they might have done to Alex she strongly believes that he is still alive that he has somehow escaped and he is looking for her right now in this instant. When she made it to the wilds she has been taken in by a group of people who agree to let her stay if she agrees to help out in the homestead. Raven and Tack are the owners of the homestead they help Lena learn how to survive in the wilds and how to make almost anything with just the things you find around. Lena has a brief experience of lost love from the experience of losing her mother and Alex, eventually Lena gives up hope that Alex is alive and starts to believe that he is dead and he will never come back, not anymore. Lena has joined the DFA (delirium free-America) along with Raven and Tack the instructions they gaved her was to keep an eye on Thomas Fineman’s son, Julian Fineman. Thomas Fineman is the president of the DFA and his son is a strong role model for everyone. They are in charge to keep everyone delirium free although Julian can’t get cured because of so many operations he has had he strongly believes that without the cure there is chaos and disorder as it states in the text “that’s what I believed in---what I’ve had to believe In because otherwise, it’s just… chaos” during the ceremony there was an incident scavengers take Julian through the tunnels and Lena follows she eventually gets caught and they locker her up in the same room as the one Julian is in they start sharing things they never shared with anyone else. One thing that Julian has shared to Lena was that he wanted to be the perfect son so that everything will be okay he remarks “After that, you know, I was always so careful. I would do the right thing. I would be the perfect son, a model for the DFA”. Several days later Lena starts to fall in love with Julian although she tries to keep in mind that he is the reason why Alex was taken away and she tries so hard not to betray the memories of him she is in a position where she doesn’t know whether to move on or to still believe in Alex. After they have been both locked up for several days Lena throws the umbrella that Tack has given her on the day of the ceremony and there it reveals that there was a knife hidden in it and they have given her clues in the “book of shhh” as they both try to escape they trick one of the scavengers to unlock the door the only thing left to do is to find a way out of the tunnels. I enjoyed this book because it takes you to an amazing journey it shows you how Lena’s life is in the wilds and how it is in the community in New York. I love the fact that Lena has gone through so much in her past and she still decides to get back up on her feet and keep going. I would recommend this book because it shows you how Lena will approach to the new landscape and her reactions to the new things she dealing with. I especially love the ending of this book that I have already started reading the next one which is Requiem.

Absoultely without a doubt the best book I've ever read! Lena's story yanked at my heartstrings and kept me on edge the entire time. The ending left me with only two words and jumping around my room in excitement, "Holy Crap!" I can't wait until the next book comes out! Lauren Oliver is a truly amazing writer.

Awesome read! SPOILER! Ok julian needs to go back to his cozy little operating table and take what was coming to him like a man. We all know lena only loved him cuz he was a replacement for alex and she said it herself that she got them confused. And if you deny this, got bac and LOOK IT UP. Cuz you obviously didnt read it well. Alex practically comitted suicide so she could live. Just cuz julian can scream " lena! Let her go!" Doesnt make him super man.

This series I found even better than the Twilight series and The Hunger Games! I really hope Lena chooses Alex over Julian. If the author decides Julian I'm going to be dissapointed beyond words. I emailed this to the Lauren Oliver and I hope anyone who's with me about Alex will email her as well.

Arrest me and throw me in the Crypts until I rot; I am desperately and hopelessly in love with this series and no Cure could ever change that. Firstly, much praise for Lauren Oliver. Her writing is...lush; a word that kept popping into my mind as I read. And beautiful, another word always on the edges of my peripheral vision as I followed Lena on her journey of redemption, attempting against hope to fix past mistakes and find her way. I won't give anything up for spoilage, but the ending will leave you both exhilaratingly happy and endlessly heartbroken. Will Lena ever find peace in the chaos? I almost want to say to wait to read this series until the last book is released; the waiting is unbearable! I give this series a heartfelt five stars.

I was so sad to have to wait for a third book. I love this series, and have been telling all my fellow readers to get it. Another awesome book, that cured my sadness when i finished pandemonium is Under the Never sky. Now i am dying for her next one too. Same genre, so those who need soething as good to fill their void should check it out!!! And side note....give the setting of"worlds" in under never sky patience..i whipped through it..and now its still stuck in my head....

Way better than the first. It moves much faster and contains more action -- definitely more engrossing. Now, I just hope it is not too long before the next book is released... Wouldn't want too much time to take the excitement out of the wait. :-)
