I don't usually care that much for this kind of plot, but this novel turned out to be one of a select few that I read cover to cover in one sitting. It will capture you to the point you may need a pot of coffee, because you won't want to put it down.

First! I loved the book just as much as the first one.

I thought ‘Fiona Frost: Order of the Black Moon’ was just as engaging as the first book. Once again Fiona finds her forensic training program becoming more practical. Nancy Drew for a modern audience, the Fiona Frost series takes the reader into the darker side of young adult mystery stories, especially with the teenage vampire cult in this book. I think the story was really multifaceted, adding a bit of romance and conflict, so that it depicts a realistic teenage life. The only difference is that Fiona has a mystery to solve along with the other struggles of youth. Very engaging.
