Can you REALLY expect the people who create and maintain the LSAT bell curve to teach you how to overcome it? Hmm... it's evident from this book that you cannot!! It's tips are not nearly as helpful as the princeton review. Additionally, I didn't gain very much insight on how to distinguish the correct from the 'almost' correct answers. I'm glad it contains LSAT tests but you only get three of them. Money is better spent on the LSAT 10-Preptests book (with no explainations) along with buying another real prep book that clearly explains questions and gives good testing tips. Once I read a good prep book, I could pretty much determine the rationale behind the right and wrong answers on LSAT Preptests answer keys.

The first half of this book goes into a detailed breakdown of all the different types of questions that show up on the test. Because this is published by LSAC, these descriptions gave me a better idea what exactly the test-maker's are looking for, which really helped me learn to eliminate those right-sounding-but-wrong answer choices. There are only 3 full-length tests in this book, and the solutions are helpful, but almost too thorough. I personally think it is more useful to reread a question you missed until you figure it out on your own. All in all, I would highly recommend this book, or at least the first few sections. Other than taking tons of practice exams (also available from LSAC), reading the test writers' detailed explanations of their own test was the most useful thing I did in getting ready for the LSAT.
