I just bough one recently. Does very good job, you can slide the charger in and out so you can just have it hold for movies instead of charging. It charges standing straight up. The stand itself is very sturdy and I use it to watch movies when Im home. Can't use with heavy case or cover, that will get in the way.

I've been using this for about a week now and really like the dock much more than just plugging my HD+ in. I bought one of the clock apps and turn it on while it's charging for a nice display. Dock works exactly as stated by description.

I just received this charging dock for my HD+ and I love it! It is an awesome addition for my nook. It is very sturdy. I wish I had a longer charging cord and able to use with without taking nook out of the cover. Iam so glad I ordered it.

It does a great job of charging the Nook while providing a stand for it. Can easily switch from portrait to landscape, making it more useful. It should come with an adapter. Also, it can't charge the Nook, if it's in its cover. This makes the adapter less useful.

I was reluctant to purchase this charging dock. In the photo it looks like it is is cheap plastic. I did not think it was heavy or well built. After I received the  dock I am happy to say I was wrong. The dock is well built and works very well. It is heavy plastic and should last a long tilme

I bought this and love it. I have a place to charge my nook. My only suggestion would be a longer chagrining cord and that would make it perfect.

I should have purchased this when I first got my Nook HD+--it is so wonderful and I can read or watch movies and I don't have to hold it and it doesn't slide around and I love it

Wonderful accessory for Nook HD or HD+. You can watch movies on it or use it as charging stand. When turning Nook to landscape position the charging port can slide back to allow movie watching. Very well designed...worth every penny.

...LOVE my NOOK Charging Dock for my Nook HD+!!!!! :):) The only 'con' is that I wished it would work without me having to remove my Poetic GraphGrip Silicone Case...

A must have for nook. Thank you.

Don't waste your money if you use any kind of cover. Adds just enough interference to make docking near impossible. You have to fiddle with the Dock and Nook do get it to seat correctly.

I love this charging stand. It is solid, grips well to a surface, and can be used vertically or horizontally. The Nook can only be charged on the unit in the verticle position, but that not a big deal since you can still charge the unit horizontally with the power cord. I liked the old-styled easle holder better than this, but it's no longer available. This is a great option, though. Like some of the other comments, however, it would be nice to be able to keeo the Nook in the thin, slot case while using the device.

I wouldn't give any stars if I could get away with it. My charging device for a Nook HD got damaged and try as I might, this wouldn't do the trick either. This unit charger might work on a Nook HD+ but not a Nook HD. If you have a Nook HD don't waste your time or your money. I love my Nook and now I have no way to charge the thing. I'll never buy another B & N product again. I don't have the money to replace the one I have. So, if I want to use my Nook account, and purchase reading material I'll have to do it using my laptop. Thank God for Iphones. At least they maintain their product lines.

BEWARE! Be careful when buying Nook electronic devices. I bought my Nook around 2012. After 3 years , they stopped making power supplies. Three years , and they no longer consider your machine valuable. If you call the Customer service number, they have been out of power supplies for almost a year. They tell you to use regular micro USB port knowing , there are 12 more pins in there power cord. Why invest in a e-reader that they make obsolete afer 3 years.. It was a bad buy. The really bad think I have bought more than one. I bought e readers for grand kids. What a sham
