I loved this book. It is about a girl named Florence and her monkey, Arnold. They eat all of the cookies and want more. Her mom tells her that she can not have cookies for one week, but Florence and Arnold come up with multiple plans to get more cookies. Florence's mom tells Florence on multiple occasions that she can not have more cookies, but that does not stop Florence from trying. Finally, after Florence had given up her mother decided to make another treat which was magic monkey bananas. The book even has a recipe in the back which could be fun for families to make for a healthy treat!

¿No More Cookies!¿ is a children¿s story by Paeony Lewis. This story is about a young girl who is punished for eating the whole tin of cookies. She is forbidden to have another cookie for a week. So Florence, the little girl, devises different schemes to convince her mother to let her have just one cookie. Despite all her efforts, the mother does not cave in at all. However, after the forth plan fails, Florence¿s mother gives her a different chocolate treat and Florence is happy. The recipe for the chocolate banana treat Florence eats is given in the back of the book. Kids will certainly love this book and agree with Florence¿s point of view. Her clever plans will entertain children and appeal to them. In my opinion, this was an amazing book for young readers. The mother¿s consistence of refusing to give Florence a cookie shows how young Florence learned a lesson, and this is quite good for children to see and understand. The illustrations are appropriate for young children and will certainly amuse them. The storyline will intrigue young readers and keep them interested. Overall, an excellent book.

I loved watching the delightful Florence and her sidekick, a stuffed monkey named Arnold. Florence doggedly pursues her goal of 'More Cookies' with a determination and singlemindedness that reminds me of every stubborn five-year-old I've known. Children will want this one read to them again and again.
