An E-book re-issue of a collection originally published in June, 1997 by E. Mellon Press. In 1998, it earned the Peace Corp's annual award for best poetry book by a former volunteer. Forrest Gander described the poems as "not absurdly modern, but they take the risk of articulating a serious moral gaze.

John Flynn (basilrosa.com), who also writes as Basil Rosa, has published five poetry chapbooks, a book of poems, Moments Between Cities, and translations from the Romanian of Nicolae Dabija, Blackbird Once Wild Now Tame.
