The New York Times bestseller from the authors of Cocky Bastard and Stuck-Up Suit.

I met Bianca in an elevator.

She was on her way to interview me when we got stuck.

The beautiful raven-haired reporter assumed I was a delivery guy because of the way I was dressed.

She had no clue I was really Dex Truitt, the wealthy, successful businessman she’d dubbed “Mister Moneybags”—her afternoon appointment.

Bianca told me how much she hated Dex’s type—snobby, over educated, silver-spooned men who didn't appreciate the simple things in life.

So, after the elevator finally started moving again, I cancelled the interview and let her believe I was someone I wasn’t—a bike messenger named Jay. I loved the way she looked at the fake me and didn't want it to end.

I began dating her as “Jay”—all the while letting her interview the real me over email.

I didn’t expect that our chemistry online would be just as hot.

I didn’t expect the mess I’d gotten myself into.

I didn’t expect that Jay and Dex would fall in love with her.

And she was falling for two men.

Only, both men were me.

And when she found out, we were both going to lose her.

Nothing could have prepared me for that day. And I certainly wasn't prepared for what came after.

All good things must come to an end, right?

Except our ending was one I didn't see coming.

This story was overworked, boring and predictable in trying to be unpredictable. The twists were pathetic attempts to hide a pointless story with no real soul. This story only envoked the feeling of disappointment in me.

Does not reach the quality of the previous books. Too many surprises coming out at every corner that distracted from the actual romance. And while the other books were indeed funny, this book's dialogs were flat and forced.

Oh. My. Gosh. !!! This is, by far, my favorite book by these two. This book was INTENSELY amazing! It had everything you would expect from Penelope and Vi; an engaging story, smart characters, tons of emotions. And HOLY PLOT TWIST!!! I NEVER expected the major conflict that arose between Bianca and Dex, but the way it was written was pure genius. I was almost in tears towards the end! I loved the love in this book, and the other emotions that were written so perfectly. The angst, desperation, sadness, defeat, relief, joy...I felt them all right along with the characters. And thank goodness for the smart characters. If they wanted to say something, they said it. No hemming and hawing with "oh, I should probably say this out loud, but I'm just going to keep it to myself and wait for my inaction to cause a foreseeable major problem down the road." Nope! These characters act just like real people, and, as a jaded blogger, I truly appreciate that :) (As a side note, catching up with a certain man and his goat was a nice surprise too!) I will DEFINITELY be reading this book again. Not only that, this is further proof that I don't even have to read the synopsis for a story by these ladies. I'll just read it because I KNOW it's gonna be PHENOMENAL!!! (I received a copy of this book in consideration of an honest review)

Love and lies. Really enjoyed this book. It started out so funny in the elevator, "put it in my hand....". Bianca is talking to two different guys, one she has met and the other online, who both turn out to be same guy. Bianca hates liars and Dex has lied. Bianca doesn't know at this point, but her story she wants to do on Dex is take down his company because his father ruined her family. Little does she know is that the biggest lie stems with her family. She is so wrong about Dex, but when the shocking truth is revealed both Dex and Bianca are devastated. It is tragic and romantic the love that they have for each other and the intensity of their attraction and chemistry comes through amongst several dire situations. Loved it.

This book had me hooked from chapter 1 until the very end. It was very funny, and whitty. There were twists that had me wondering, and I loved them! Great read!

The start of the one was so good, and I was enjoying it.  Even though, it did have an uber rich guy involved.   It didn’t go the 50 rout at all (does every author have to have a billionaire?) thank goodness!  This one pretends to be a bike messenger and proceeds to get himself into one hell of a jam.  A liar is never who you want to be when trying to start a relationship.  Just saying. So everything is going well then along comes the big twist, nope I’m not going to blow it, and yes it did fit with the story a bit, but it was somewhat off-putting.  Let me just say it right now gag, yuck, no.  Luckily the taboo thing never happened, or this would be an entirely different type of book, that I would not be reading EVER.  GAG So, had the twist not been in the story it would have gotten a five but because he didn’t care one way or the other, did I mention gag, I am giving it 4 Boundless stars.

Mister Moneybags is a very entertaining book. I liked the beginning of the book a lot. I found it quite funny how Dex and Bianca met and how their relationship evolved from there. Dex's anger over Jay was hilarious! Dex's relationship with Bandit was also really funny. I loved their "talks" with one another. My only problem with the book was that the first half and the second half of the book seemed a little disconnected. It almost seemed like 2 different stories in the same book. Not gonna lie, the storyline of the second half of the book wasn't the best. It was different, I just wasn't a huge fan of it. It all works out and I'm happy with the way it ends though. I love how Chance pops up in this book! It was one of my favorite parts of the whole book! =)

Mister Moneybags by Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward (Audio Edition) Narrated by Sebastian York , Andi Arndt 5 Stars - GREAT! This book had me laughing right away. Such silliness! I listened to this all in one go. Thoroughly enjoyed it! Got sucked in by the “letter writing” premise and couldn't put the book down. The chemistry was great between Bianca and Dex, their innuendos and double entendres made laugh and smile throughout the book. Both Narrators did a fantastic job! ~Paragraphs and Petticoats~

Hang on to you seat! This book definitely has a few surprises in it's pages. Loved the story from beginning to end. Dex and Bianca had an uncertain beginning and an even rockier middle. But these two, have to be two of my favorites. Oh, and I loved the little cameo of Chance from the original Cocky Bastard book.

These two authors never disappoint! I picture the two of them plotting out their story, laughing, thinking what's the craziest things we could do to our couple and then they do it! Bianca George had volunteered to interview Dexter "Mister Moneybags" Truitt for an article in Finance Times where she works. No one knows her real reason for volunteering but she was selected to interview the reclusive man who is finally revealing himself to the world. On the elevator ride up to his company's floor, the elevator stops working, the lights go out, and the fun begins. This scene was hysterical...I couldn't stop laughing. Dex has a smarta$$ quality to him which I just loved. Dex is really enjoying conversing with Bianca and is very interested in her until he realizes that she is the one that will be interviewing him and her opinion of him isn't very favorable...so what does Dex do???? Pretends to be someone else...Jay. Dex ends up cancelling the interview with Bianca but agrees to an email interview instead. This emailing turns into texting every night at 11:00 pm. Bianca is getting to know the real Dex and actually liking him....all the while....she is going on dates with Jay. The different situations that "Jay" went through was too funny. It was even funnier that Dex was jealous of Jay! LOL. Of course all secrets eventually get exposed and that's when the real fun begins. The path these two had to take to get to their happy ending was just crazy. Just when you'd think you had the story figured out...BOOM....here's a new curve. Overall, I just adored this book. The characters were so fun and real and the story was wonderful. I've loved every book these two authors have released and they are now an auto buy for me. Great job.....LOVED IT!

Dexter Truitt is the CEO of Montague Enterprises, he is beyond wealthy, sexy, very successful and he has been dubbed Mister Moneybags by Bianca George, a reporter for Finance Times. Bianca despises everything that Dex stands for, he is rich, successful, arrogant, and answers to no one. Thus her nickname for him, but Bianca will soon learn that there is more to Dex than meets the eye. After a hilarious panic stricken meeting in an elevator, Dex decides to become Jay Reed, so that he can get to know Bianca, and so the love triangle of sorts begins. Oh, the things that Dex/Jay does to prove himself to Bianca will have you laughing out loud. But is seems that Dex is not the only one with secrets, and they will both have to come clean if they want a chance to see where this thing between them is headed. I really enjoyed this book, it was funny, sad, entertaining, sexy, and romantic. It will make you laugh, swoon and fall in love with the characters.

Oh Mr. Moneybags, I don’t even know where to start with this review. I experienced just about all the feels as I read it. I laughed over their crazy meet-cute. I cringed when Bianca ran her mouth. I shook my head in disbelief over Dex aka Jay and the choice to lie to her. I swooned over the sexy times between Bianca and Dex. I rooted for Bianca and Dex to figure it all out and realize they were perfect for each other. I loved their romance! Sigh. Alas, there were somethings that I didn’t like. I understood the purpose for adding them, but I didn’t like them… I really LOVED the first half of Mr. Moneybags. Actually, loved isn’t a strong enough feeling. Seriously. 10 Stars. And then the second half. I still liked it. A lot. But, yeah, I struggled with the plot. But in the end. I knew Ms. Keeland and Ms. Ward wouldn’t let me down. I knew Mr. Moneybags would have the perfect ending. And it did. It so did. It’s just that the road was a bit bumpy for me along the way.

I love, love, love this story ! I have almost every book published by these authors and have enjoyed them all. But this one I fell in love with. Read this book, I'm sure you will love it as much as I have !

The premise that lying can lead to problems works well in this book. From the creation of Jay, Dex leans heavily on getting himself in trouble with Bianca. Then family lies wreck havoc on their potential relationship and the reader finds himself rooting for a happy ending for these two star-crossed lovers.

I’m not sure what I was expecting from Mister Moneybags but it wasn’t what I read, for sure. Even as I write this I’m not sure if I understand why the book took the turns it did. It felt… strange, off, forced. Parts of it just didn’t work for me. Perhaps because if an author is going to toe the line Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward did in this book, I prefer for the book to go all the way there. Also, because that little bit of tension that was thrown in at the end seems like it should have been enough to carry an entire book and I really would have enjoyed that. Mister Moneybags, despite its tiny foray into the taboo, was a light fun read. It was an interesting take on the rich man/average girl trope. It was interesting to see Bianca have all of the power in the relationship despite the fact could have easily been overbearing and controlling given his position in the business and social hierarchy. It was also very refreshing to see a person who’d been raised without wanting for anything be so down to earth and have the self-awareness to see when his privilege was coloring his perception of things. I quite enjoyed the juxtaposition of what was expected from the characters with the reality of how they actually behaved. I did have a hard time with some of Dex’s internal dialogue. It seemed strange and stilted, and, to me, it took away from the experience of the book. I am a firm believer in show, don’t tell when I read and this affected that for me. While I know not everyone reads in the same way or even have similar thought processes, I would have liked to have seen these little asides dealt with differently. I also felt like the first two-thirds, or so, of the book and the last third, though loosely linked by the common theme of deception, were almost two different stories. I knew that it was meant to be the conflict leading to the ultimate climax of the book, but it just felt incongruous to how the story started. Overall, Mister Moneybags was enjoyable and would be a great read for someone who wants to try something a little new, a little different, someone who wants to read a book that flirts with the idea of things not discussed in polite society. I’d really love to see what Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward would if they threw caution to the wind and completely blurred the line between what is acceptable and what isn’t.

Oh dear Lord! This book is AMAZING!!!! Very unexpected and such a great story. Even though the first chapter of this book has been out there for a while now, I went in blind. I didn't read it because I like to be surprised, and surprised I was. Yes, this book has the banter and the humor that we love from Keeland and Ward's books, but there is so much more to it. I really don't want to give anything away because this is a journey that you need to take with these characters and live every little second of it, enjoy it and savor it like you would a fine wine. Never judge a book by its cover they say, and Dex was not at all what I expected, is not what Bianca expected either. Bianca is a strong, independent character, a girl that could be any of us or any of our friends. There is so much depth to Dex and Bianca, and at the same time they're characters that are very likable and easy to relate to. The flow is just right, slow when it needs to be and fast when it calls for some action. This book is full of twists and turns and they were all executed to perfection. This was an addictive story that left me reeling. And in good Vi and Penelope tradition we get to see (not really see, but you know what I mean) some characters from past books, care to guess who? Thank you ladies for another fantastic addition to this already outstanding "series." Five stars don't do this book justice in my opinion.

This one certainly did not disappoint. Just as good if not better than the rest. They seem to get better and better. I think the elevator scene in the beginning set the tone of these two characters. Not being able to "see" enabled them to open themselves up to each other. Dex was someone because of his past did not want to be seen/photographed in public. When the lights went out in the elevator Bianca couldn't see him but a connection was formed. Regardless if he was Jay or Dex. When she started the online interviews with him she still could not see him. She opened herself up to him and was able to see him for who he was even though she never saw him. Dex was afraid to be seen because he felt people would judge him for who is was and not what he was underneath. I think pretending being Jay opened his own eyes and things he took for granted he now appreciated. I loved the relationship between Bianca and Jay/Dex. I loved how open they were in their online interviews and how they each fell for each other. I loved how they were honest with each other and how they both stood together through some of the surprises they were dealt. Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward are amazing with their characters and the twist and turns they go through. From the first page to the next they have you hooked. Excited to see what will happen next. Each book they publish gets better and better. The journey their characters go on has you excited to see if through and falling in love along with them.

This storyline was amazing, kept you guessing the whole time. Story was about lairs, cheaters, and great friendships when you least expected them. DEX and Bianca had chemistry beyond belief. Loved these authors, so I highly recommend this book. Mjw
