Another entertaining installment where the girls have an adventure while trying to earn a badge from an interesting camp counselor who has some problems of her own. This volume is bit different from the earlier ones, presumably because of different writers, as it focuses more on characterization whereas the earlier ones were more about the adventure. Here, the girls have to help their shapeshifter counselor get her ship back from a trio of selkies(!) who have taken it, while Molly and Ripley are going to investigate solutions with the Bear Woman but get caught up in her adventure. It does bridge the two arcs well, and lands us with a good conclusion and an interesting discovery. One thing I particularly loved: Ripley immediately tackle-hugging anyone new, and them being immediately charmed by it or scared.
