Little Lester Can Read is about a young boy named Lester who is having difficulty reading, and understanding how to put letters in their proper order. With the aid of his fellow peers, and teacher, Lester is able to accomplish his goal in the time frame he set out for himself. The moral of the book is, not to give up and even though you may seem different, it is that difference that makes us special.
About the Author
The author Pat Moses has been an educator for the Cumberland County school system for many years. Her passion for teaching in a diverse environment is the inspiration behind her Little Lester series. She spends her time constantly finding ways to uplift and inspire minority children within the community. Moses feels that children need to have access to more books that they can see themselves in, and can relate too. All children are beautiful in her eyes, and all their stories should be told.
