A decade old lie has Doug making frantic decisions. His out-of-control ego and rash behavior trigger heartbreak. A speeding train can't get him away fast enough to avoid disclosure. Jeopardizing a romantic marriage, writing career, his integrity, and every relationship known to man, he hires a feisty female lawyer with a ruthless reputation to crush the opposition. As the past tracks a cloud of deception, his overzealous misgivings and wit fail to entertain his wife or attorney; the dead-and-buried reveal truth and a bloodthirsty instinct to silence him. Responding to perpetual threats and desperation to survive, he confronts evil with illustriousness.

I originally wrote Let's Sue 'Em as a 140-page novella. When I began work on the sequel, I realize much of the story from the screenplay was missing so I went back and rewrote the entire book into a full novel. The manuscript has over 100 new pages. The newly re-edited story has changes on every page. Formatting is updated and revised. Chapter links, a new content page, author's note and information about the author are all new. Also, I've included the first two chapters of the coming sequel: Over a Cup of Caramelized Chocolate

About the Author

Born in Chicago Illinois, William Byron Hillman is the author of the bestsellers Veronique and Murray, the Rollie Kemp Mysteries and 16 published novels. His father was an accountant for mobster Al Capone, so he walked away from a fractured, dysfunctional family with ties to major crime and moved to Hollywood. In the early stages of his writing career, he befriended CIA and FBI agents, and that friendship opened a world of unbelievable stories and unusual characters for his war chest. Bill built a career as an actor and writer for film and television. His career includes a two-year stint on TV soap opera "Days of our Lives," TV shows like Bewitched and major studio films Ice Station Zebra. Bill has sold over 30 screenplays and produced, directed and wrote numerous movies. When time permits, he enjoys taking assignments for script consultation and doctoring. As a motivational speaker, Bill is constantly invited to visit major college campuses nationwide. His gift of gab has delivered humorous product introductions to the public via infomercials and TV commercials. Bill has a global following and appreciates all of his readers, fans, colleagues, and friends.

Bill lives in South Carolina with his wife and 16 paws where he is putting the finishing touches on his next novel.
