Kayson Kennedy and his family pack up shop and move to tiny town, Georgia in order to get to know his newly found baby sister.
After the passing of their mother, Kayson and his brother Kingsley are determined to hold on to the only family they have left.
Opening up their tattoo shop in a small, conservative, town; Kayson never imagined he'd find love at all, most especially not right across the street...

Conner Allen owns his own bookstore in a plaza of other small stores, directly across the street from gorgeous, tatted up, Kayson Kennedy. Daydreaming for days about what it would be like to see him up close; his wish comes true when he's attacked outside of his bookstore by a scared, angry teenager.

Now that the ice has been broken between the two, Kayson realizes he's pretty smitten with the bookstore owner from across the street.... and his overweight cat, named, Pickles!

What will they do when the threat may not be over? Will the backlash of conservative, small town bigots keep Conner from the real life fantasy, he's been dreaming about since Kayson moved in across the street? Or will Kayson do everything in his power to make those daydreams a reality?

This book contains strong language, m/m situations, and a HEA. Kingsley's story will be next :)

About the Author

Jenny Wood- Stay at home mother/amateur writer. I'm about to turn 31, but still trying to pull off 29 for at least another year or two. I have two amazing sons, my oldest bordering on becoming a teenager and my youngest is just entering the pre-teen years.
I've got the most amazing husband whom I can't decide if I want to bury him in the back yard or marry him all over again most days, but I appreciate him so much for not yelling when I shush him and not divorcing me when I get into the zone and write for hours at a time.
I'm new at this for now, so I hope everyone takes that into account while entering the fictional world that lived in my head all year. I hope you enjoy them as much as I did!

The story with such strong likable characters, make up for any editing mistakes. Start of a great series --have read the whole series and can't wait for the book

This may be a good story, but I couldn't read it due to the severe punctuation errors. This may sound picky and silly; however, it made it too distracting to read. Semi-colons used instead of commas, random commas where there shouldn't be one, no comma where there should be, and commas/periods used alongside parentheses. I just find this ironic based on the disclaimer of the author regarding typos due to the use of a Southern accent. I'm from the South, and the errors riddled throughout has nothing to do with how we speak. This is something an editor should have fixed before this book was published. Sorry to be so negative, but I was disappointed because it sounded like an interesting story.

This book was so full of heart. It was shorter than I normally would like but a complete story. It really didn't need to be longer. I couldn't put it down, it was so cute!
