A Junie B. Jones Book, #18

Hurray, hurray for a brand-new school year!

Only, for Junie B. Jones, things are not actually that pleasant. ’Cause first grade means having to get used to a whole new classroom. And a whole new teacher. And a whole new bunch of strange children. But here’s the worst thing of all: when Junie B. tries to read words on the chalkboard, she can’t seem to see what everyone else is seeing! Is it
possible she might actually end up wearing glasses?

Purchased this book for my first grade daughter. Her teacher has been reading the Junie B. Jones series to the class. They are full of humor and make my daughter laugh. She can read them to herself or sometimes we read them together.

"Boss of Lunch" was a great book. I highly recommend this book for readers from ages 5-7. In it, Junie B. gets a chance to work "behind the counter" with her favorite cookie-bringer Mrs. Gutzman. It is very funny. Junie B. strikes again!

Brings back the grade-school lunch memories. An enjoyable read. I read this book with my hubby and 6-yr old...we laughed together. Junie B. Jones gets so excitied to help Gladys Gutzman in the cafeteria. My only question is.... where is Meanie Jim??? I miss reading about him.

This is the story of a young girl named Junie B. Jones who gets into trouble because she wont stop looking into her brand new lunchbox. She argues with another little girl about brought lunches and bought lunches. She ends up helping in the cafeteria only to realize how much work it is. It's remarkable how many times in this book she gets into trouble. This is My first Junie B Jones book, and now I find myself a fan. Junie is just a normal kids with all the real emotions we experienced growing.A good lesson from this book for students is the importance of rules , and how to respect another s opinion

Junie B. gets to help out in the lunch room at school on day with Mrs. Gutzman. She learns all about how the lunch ladies prepare the lunches for the children and she learns all about hygiene. She has many jobs that she gets to do like being the lunch greeter, she gets to sponge the counter and keep it clean, stacking the napkins etc. This book could be used for pleasure reading.
