The sample doesn't show any of the actual story. If it had, we would not have purchased it because of the tiny pictures (about 1" square) and inaccurate retelling of the story. It is too dumbed down, even for young children. Also, it doesn't explain that the Ninevites were fierce enemies who didn't know or believe in God, or tell about the people of Nineveh choosing to stop doing wrong (sinning) and choosing to obey God and believe in Him, or about Jonah's reaction to the people's repentance. It just said "Jonah told the people, 'Stop doing bad things!' The people listened. God forgave Jonah. God forgave the people. God loves all his people." And that was the wishy-washy end of this disappointing book.

Everyone says the fish was a whale but the bible says it was a BIG FISH not a whale if it was a whale the bible would say it is a whale. Well its not it might be a big big fish that no one decovered before only by Jonah or it might have been a fish that is exstinked now but not then. See what God can do
