Isaac's Ice Cream Tree is a fun story that lets a child imagine the fun of finding ice cream on a tree and having different flavors of ice cream every day! Isaac finds a different color of ice cream each day of the week and they all taste delicious. He enjoys this all winter but changes occur when the temperatures warm and Spring arrives. The ice cream begins to melt and then, a rainbow appears. Isaac realizes that the melted colors have now created a rainbow and he is reminded that 'Even when the magic seems gone, always remember to look for the rainbow!' The colorful illustrations and the easy to read text make Isaac's Ice Cream Tree very appealing to children and it is a great book for children and adults to read together. I received a digital ARC of this book from WhiteSpark Publishing and Celebrate Lit and a favorable review was not required. The thoughts expressed here are my own.

Isaac’s Ice cream Tree A book that teaches how to think positive. Also great for imagination. It would be great that a tree would actually create different types of ice cream. I loved the relationship between Isaac and the tree. He did not want the tree to be lonely during the winter time. Isaac decided to go out every day to keep the try company everyday. He left the tree gifts and in return the tree turned them into ice cream. Even though this is a children’s book it can be a great lesson to learn as adults. So as you read this book to a child, children think about the meaning of the book. We can relate our relationships with people the same as Isaac had with the tree. I received a complimentary copy of the book from the publisher through Celebrate Lit. I was not required to write a positive review . This is my own opinion.

Isaac's Ice Cream Tree is a delightful story about caring, friendship and a boy with a big heart. I enjoyed reading the adventure Isaac had with his magical tree. Everyday was a new treat for him by his new friend. His excitement is contagious and you can't help but smile as you read the story. The illustrations are vivid and enhance the story. The story is perfect for younger children and will have them dreaming of ice cream. I love the message in the story to never give up and always look for your rainbow of happiness.

Isaac's Ice Cream Tree was a delightful, magical book. Who wouldn't want ready-to-eat ice cream to appear on their favorite tree? The relationship between Isaac and the tree gave this picture book a special touch. There was just enough repetition and just the right number of surprises to give this story appeal to its target audience. I loved the whimsical choice of fonts and colors throughout the story. I received an ARC of this book from the publisher, WhiteSpark Publishing, through Celebrate Lit, for review purposes. The thoughts expressed here are my own.

Isaac’s Ice Cream Tree is a magical story that really focuses on a child’s imagination with a favorite tree of his. In this story Isaac goes through the days of the week bringing different fruits to his tree and finds that each day the fruit has changed to different flavors and colors of ice cream. Not only that but there is a little bit of science taught as well as the seasons change from winter to spring and his ice cream begins to evaporate. This was a cute book with bright and colorful illustrations that kids will enjoy. I received a copy of this book from the publisher. I was not required to post a positive review and all views and opinions are my own.

A whimsical wintry story What a fun book! At first glance, it is simply an imaginative and somewhat silly story of a boy’s love for a tree and how his kindness towards it was rewarded with ice cream. Truly, what better reward could there be?!! On that level alone, the book is a fun story to give to a young reader to enjoy. On a slightly deeper look, Isaac’s story also teaches about the days of the week, fruit, colors, and even speaks of changes in the weather related to several seasons! I love the illustrations in Isaac’s Ice Cream Tree. They are fun and friendly and warm. The colors and fonts used are appealing and fit with the story quite well. If you are looking for a fun book for a youngster - one who needs to be read to or one who is already reading, Isaac’s Ice Cream Tree is a sweet treat for the senses. Just be sure to have some real ice cream on hand because this book will surely to leave you craving the frozen treat as well! Read my review of Isaac's Ice Cream Tree by Angela Henderson at AmongTheReads.net I was given a copy of this book. I was not required to give a favorable review nor was any money received for this review. All comments and opinions are my own."

This delightful tale is written by a six-year-old boy and his mom, with fun, colorful illustrations that perfectly enhance it. Isaac is a very caring boy who wants to keep his friend, the sugar maple tree, from becoming lonely when the last of the leaves have fallen and winter is setting in. When he finds a way to help the tree, the tree has a way of giving back to him. Young children will love this book that they can read alone or with their parents, and it can help them learn more about the colors in their world. I highly recommend it!

Our Thoughts: We love to read here in our house and finding Christian Children’s Books is always a welcome thing. It is sometimes hard to find good children’s books though. And finding Christian Children’s Books can be almost impossible if you don’t know where to look. We believe that exposing Children to God’s love from a very young age is the way to go! That all being said these are cute books! Even if you’re not serious about reading Christian children’s books to your kids you’re going to love these. The illustrations are so cute and colorful. My kids are in love with them and will happily sit to have them read time and time again. We have studied rainbows several times in our homeschool and love how beautiful they are and of course the reason for the first rainbow. When God gave Noah that first rainbow I can’t even imagine what the people thought. How gorgeous and what a wonderful promise! This is a great way to interest your children in colors and learning the colors of the rainbow specifically. We have a rhyme that I teach my kids to help them remember how the colors go but this is so much more fun! Definitely get yourself a copy. I would also recommend them for the nursery of churches. And it would be great to get some good Christian children’s books like these into some waiting rooms. It’s always nice to have something besides magazines or soap operas for your children to view when you’re waiting at the doctor or dentist.

I chose to read this book with my 5 year old son. He loved it so much! The pictures are breath-taking, the story was so adorable! My 5 year old has wanted to read this book over and over again. He is in kindergarten and has had some struggles with reading, and identifying colors and days of the week. This book was a perfect edition to our library to help him on his journey. Plus, he is a ice cream monster so he loved when all the ice cream melted at the end. I love books that teach. This will be a family favorite. I received a copy of this book through Celebrate Lit Blogging program, all thoughts are my own.
