This book has two parts and slowly progresses in difficulty, introducing children to ABCs, numbers, animals, common words and objects. Perfect to study at any young age, as long as your child is still learning to read, write and loves to color!
The Rhyming ABCs part has short verses (that actually rhyme!) meant to be traced by your child's hand and memorized while working to color the beautiful illustrations, many of which provide plenty of learning opportunities. Some objects have numbers and letters as part of the art and some rhymes are part-prompts that ask children to use their knowledge - they are simple and fun! You may also want to use this moment to ask your child to count flowers, animals, stars, colors etc. The large size of this book (8.5x11 in) leaves plenty of space for notes on unfamiliar subjects and words your child may come across while coloring the illustrations.
In the The Great Coloring Word Hunt children color nature and animals while filling in missing letters in basic words and are asked to count them at the end. Most of the coloring artwork in this part is more true to life and represents travelling across the world through forests, oceans and the sky.
