"...100 Words" and the condensed board book version, "...a Lot of Words" are both great books. Kids and adults both can enjoy the dog's eagerness to learn the words and to do everything from "shine my shoe" to "clean the zoo." Our 2-year-old loved the board book version, and I enjoyed reading it to her because the pictures are so engaging and funny. We got her the "100 Words" version now that she's 3 and interested in reading herself, and it's good too but not quite as funny as the board book.

When our two children were young we read "I'll Teach My Dog 100 Words" to them every night. Both of our children are having their first babies now, but we only had the one original book. Thankfully it is still in print as this is the book our children want to pass onto their children. I highly recommend this book, as the children never tire of the story.

We have the cardboard 'lot of words' . Expected this not to be a rehash, and as an ebook it's just not quite the same experience.
