The book is a fiction book detailing the quest of a young creature, gathering ingredients for his mother. Similar to other famous children’s books, like Go Dogs, Go!, it is in repetition style. My two year old brother was only mildly entertained, having lost interest ¾ of the way through. Meanwhile, my mother and I were entertained by the irony of the situation. I would say the main flaw is that at young ages, ironic humor goes over children’s heads. However, by three children will be laughing because of the oddness of disgusting ingredients. The book is a gross out book designed for more preschool age kids that parents will also be able to laugh about Charles M, 11, Richmond Mensa
