I am the author of JEREMY GRABOWSKI'S CRAZY SUMMER IN STORMVILLE! I didn't lose interest in Hooky all the way to the end. The main characters, Adam, Leon, and Jay are very well developed. The plot was original and I had fun as I read what the boys were up to and the problems they faced. Hooky would be easy to read for most 12-year-olds and older. It took a vivid imagination to come up with this story. I was disappointed when I finished the book because I wanted the read more about the boys. I think you would be glad you read Hooky too! Great book Greg!

What an amazing epic. It was full of exciting twists and turns that sent my mind going. I loved the characters, that relate to a little bit of all of us. We all have a little nerdy Leon or a misbeheaved Adam but the most easy to relate with is Jay, always on a quest for the perfect girl. I loved it and know you will too.

I believe that this book was excellent. The adventures the main characters went through were funny and exciting. I especially liked the parts with Leon's idea of a scary costume (Casper the friendly ghost) and when Leon was hiding in the janitor's closet and had to go to the bathroom, and rather than risk being caught by somebody went in the bucket used by teachers to clean the blackboards. The character development in this book was excellent and the exciting ending kept me on the edge of my seat. All in all an excellent book. I reccomend it for anyone who wants a good laugh.
