There is a reason the whole world loves this series.

I'm treating this listing as an all inclusive 1-7 even though it says 1-6. I love the Harry Potter books. I know that leaves me lumped with billions of others, and my review is unecessary, but these books are absolutely breath taking and inspired. That's my opinion!

Harry Potter is a real character. He is just having ordinary life as our children. It is much better than those characters found in mass media such as superman. In the story, he lived with his Aunt and Uncle after the death of his parents. Afterwards, he went to a wizard school where he learns magic.

I was a late-comer in the world of Harry Potter. Just discovering the book series last summer, I found out what a fun-filled and absorbing read this book is. It contains many elements: action/adventure, humor, suspense, and a touch of 'romance'. Probably the most fabulous children's series written so far, it is great for a reader of any age.

At first I was going to go through all the books one by one... but honestly, people should just read the whole collection... it is the way it should be read. Since it is so popular, I don't see a need to praise it up and I see no need for my review to be read when the movies are taking over the little kid readers imagination. Down with the movies, I say! (At least until all the books are out).

A child discovers he is a wizard and must go to a special school to hone those skills. At school the magic of "magic" is eclipsed by the reality of school work needed to perform it, and typical kid preoccupations of sports and food. A cute story is capped off with a mysterious deadly secret.

A great read that is so good that I can't put them down until finished.

Overall this is a set with great quality (of course, the books are indescribably amazing). However, the books, being paperback are easily bent and are tightly crammed in the box so exactness is needed in depositing the books into their case. I was careless and accidentally bent the cover of my copy of the sixth book. Whoops. Please learn from my mistakes. Highly recommended, all the same.

I received the box set within a week of purchase in good condition. It was about $20 cheaper on line than it was in the store.

I bought this set for my 22 year old daughter who had never read a H.Potter book! For some reason she wanted to and put the books on her birthday wish list. I was delighted the boxed set was available in paperback--wished the 7th one in the series was included, but that's okay. She was delighted as well with the six contained in a nifty box. I recommend this set for anyone who does not have any of the HP books and would like a neat organized way to display them. Perfect for the newly initiated.
