I am a senior citizen, and proud of it! One of the things that I became interested in, besides reading, that is, was ways to keep my mind sharp as I got older. And crosswords was a natural road to travel. As an aside, I have also added Sudoku; which is another great pasttime of mine. I have to be honest and tell you that I was a bit dissapointed in the quality of this particular crossword book. It was almost too easy. I have always been an advocate for AARP, and I was greatly pleased to see them representing a crossword book. But, I think they sugar-coated the difficulty of the puzzles. Please bear in mind, I am an avid puzzler, and this was just too easy for me. Others, getting started on tweaking the gray cells will find this series a perfect match for them.

I take these crossword books wherever I go and have to sit/wait for more than 10 minutes.

Very good for keeping us sharp as the book says. Wish they had more for me to purchase. You do not have to have a Crossword Dictionary but I like having one for the few I cannot figure out and when I try harder Crosswords it does come in very handy. Worth buying and increasing the memory.
