This board book was given to us for one of our children¿s Baptisms. We often use it in the morning, as an extension of the Morning Offering. Usually, we flip through the pages with me asking, ¿Is it Monday?¿ and the kids answering, ¿No...¿ until we get to the page for the day it really is. Then, we read the simple prayer for that day and think of ways to apply it to our day. As a bonus, the kids enjoy finding the animals in the simple drawings on each page, as well as pointing out other everyday objects. This is a great baby to toddler and beyond book.

My church sends this book as a gift to newborn babies in our parish. It is very colorful, easy for little ones to handle, and the prayers for each day are short and easy for them to learn. We love it!

Cynthia Rylant does a super job of helping parents teach their little ones about grace in this powerful little book. It's a must for new parents and anyone who has the interest of young children at heart. The words for each day are simple but the messages are profound. If as adults we could remember to follow the simple messages that Cynthia Rylant writes about in her book, our world would change for the better.

I purchased this book for my grandson when he was 3 years old. He is almost five and he still has the same love for it. The prayers are easy enough for a young child to remember with repeated readings. I even bought copies for the grandsons of two of my friends. This book would be a wonderful addition to any child's library. It does my heart good every time my grandson says,' Mom-Mom it's time to read my prayer book!'

It is the perfect book for your child to take to Mass or other religious service. It is brightly colored and after a while, they can recite the words back to you.

I absolutely love this book! I bought it as a baby gift, and I have since purchased two more - also for baby gifts. I really want one of my own. Its simple, profound message is powerful.
