Rachel does it again! This is like your BFF telling you to get off your butt and get to working on the life you want! This book is different than Girl, Wash Your Face int he sense that she gives you tools to build the life of your dreams- without apologizing for the fire in your heart to pursue them! Her relatable style makes it so easy to listen to her and her humor softens the tough love. I hope you enjoy this as much as I did and it set your passion on fire to go and and be the best version of yourself everyday!

She did it again! Another book to add to my "read again and again" shelf on my bookcase! Rachel's down-to-earth style pulls you in and you feel like you're chatting with your best friend when you read her words! With "Girl, Wash Your Face" she pumped us up, and with this sequel she's giving us the guidance to move boldly forward with practical advice, tips and support! You will love this read!

Rachel Hollis proclaims, "It's time to stop apologizing for who you are. It's time to became who you were made to be." Fans of Girl, Wash your Face will most likely resonate with this follow up encouragement. As a working mom of four, Hollis hits all the notes to remind me that there are plenty of conscious and unconscious things that women - with the best intentions -do to hold themselves back. While Girl, Wash your Face was broken up into lies we tell ourselves; Girl, Stop Apologizing is balanced between excuses to let go of and behaviors to adopt, followed by skills to acquire. MLM peeps are flocking to this book and Hollis's wisdom in droves. As a corporate employee, I believe there is plenty of advice that resonates to help anyone improve.

In true Hollis fashion this book jumps right in and takes no prisoners. Honest, open, no shame. Kick butt and take names later.... It maybe just forget the names; especially if they're haters! Another inspirational book that will push an insane amount of women to go for their dreams without questioning those around them if those dreams are possible. At a time when self help or how to's are all the rage; Rachel has a performance voice that doesn't alienate many and she wants to empower females everywhere. Maybe you haven't thought of that dream seriously, maybe you have told yourself it's silly or maybe you just haven't taken the time to focus on you. Start here and be inspired!!!! A few tips, hints, and tricks that might just be what you've been missing. What's your more????? I received an advanced copy of the book and this here is my honest review.

A great, practical guide for moving past the things that keep you from achieving your goals. The title says it all: a shame-free PLAN for embracing and achieving your goals. Hollis takes you through letting go of excuses, behaviors to adopt, and skills to acquire to help get you past the barriers keeping you from success. If you loved GWYF, you'll love this book by Queen Rach!

Rachel Hollis delivers a deliciously motivational manifesto once again. GSA is the perfect follow up to Girl Wash Your Face. It's broken down into three parts: excuses to let go of, behaviors to adopt and skills to acquire. Even if you aren't the religious type, you'll find yourself wanting to shout "amen" or "Yasss," as you read. Rachel speaks directly to your soul and makes you want to get up off the couch, and jump into action. Her passion is straight fire and I guarantee anyone reading this book will find not just motivation, but direction in achieving your goals. "If you want something you've never had, you have to do something you've never done." Maybe that means reading this book, maybe that means taking advice from a woman you've never met. Either way, you won't be disappointed.

This girl is on fire!! Her newest release is something that sang to my heart. I needed to read this right now, and I hope I can get my fire lit to set some high goals and go. I needed Rachel to be that person to tell me that it is okay to ask for help, to not take on so much, and to take care of myself. I often fall into that trap of listening to other people's opinions, and lose sight of my goal. Rachel says it best when she says, you can only focus on one at a time. In this edition, there is a bonus chapter "Suck it up and Sell" which is perfect.

Rachel Hollis has done a great job at lighting a fire in me again. Recently, I've been in a tough spot in life and really needed a plan to get everything back on track. This book helped with that. I will admit, if you're a super fan and you follow Rach on social media, watch her lives daily, etc., some of this will be things you've heard before (I mean, she read a lot of chapters on the live stream) but there is still plenty of new content that will get you ready to set and get on after your goals. I love Rachel's tone as the book speaks to me as if we're friends and she's dishing out some tough love. I also purchased the audio book as sometimes you just need to hear the words. I did receive an advance reader copy but also decided get the audio book and I'm so glad I did.

Yes, yes, and yes! If you’re looking for some motivation to go after those dreams, Rachel will give you that push! Rachel Hollis gives a real life, from experience, tips, tricks, and a game plan for you to get it in gear. Love this book just as much as I loved Girl Wash Your Face!

This is another knock out of the park for Rachel. I love how honest she is and how motivating she can be. I have both the Audible and the book so I can hear her tell me to get off my butt and do the thing that God has set in my heart and to not be sorry that I am advancing myself in whatever I need to work on. You need to get this book if you are struggling and need encouragement. Remember she is writing about herself and her journey so it might not look like your life so be kind.

I absolutely loved this book. Rachel definitely wrote so many things that I needed to hear and remind myself of. The part about stop worrying about other people’s opinions really hit home as I’m a people pleaser. I will definitely be referencing back to this book often as I underlined so many great quotes. My biggest take away is that we need to start treating ourselves better than we do. And live life now. Tomorrow is not promised. We need to stop apologizing for everything and start living the life we were created to live. Create you dreams and go after them and achieve them. The book is broken down into 3 main categories. Excuses to Let go of, Behaviors to adapt and Skills to acquire. I definitely recommend this book to anyone who is looking to make positive changes in their life.

Rachel Hollis' first book, "Girl, Wash Your Face" was a book I gained so much from. I related to much of what she was saying and realized some of the struggles I was dealing with were ones that other women were facing, too. In fact, GWYF was a motivation for me to get better about being sure I was making time for self care, restarted my journey towards a healthier lifestyle, as well as helped me become more productive in my work at a non-profit, which I feel is my calling. "Girl, Stop Apologizing," is her second book, and while I found much information that would be helpful to those in business or seeking to "create their own empire," the message of the book did not connect with me. Granted, I am probably not in the target demographic, as I am confident in where I am at this stage in my life. Goal setting and continuing to adjust how my dreams might look is par for the course for me right now. For someone who is not familiar with how to get started in this venture, "Girl, Stop Apologizing" will offer suggestions from Rachel's entrepreneurial journey and provide concrete ways to set workable goals. While GWYF was more of an inspirational, "friend who has your best interests at heart" read, this book read a little more like a guideline on how to succeed in business, which I wouldn't have first guessed by the title. I was hoping it had more to do with being intentional in accepting where you are in life or who you are without apologizing for it. However, this book might be good for someone who is running their own business or has lofty goals for creating a new business. Rachel's publisher did change between GWYF and this book, so be aware that this book was not marketed by a Christian publishing house. I am all for emphasis, but I have always been told that intelligence should not be hidden behind "colorful" language. I was able to glean quite a few things on leadership from the book, though, and as I said before, I am probably not the target audience. I look forward to reading her book on women's health and Dave Hollis's upcoming book! I received an early reader copy from Harper Collins Leadership and was not required to leave a review. All opinions are my own.

Rachel Hollis does it again.... She follows up Girl, Wash Your Face with Girl, Stop Apologizing, thus handing all women the tools to become their Best Self. By pointing out the excuses, giving guidance on the behaviors (and how to change or develop them) and the skills needed to be successful at anything life might throw you or you might seek, Rachel created the playbook all women, regardless of age, socioeconomic status, marital status, kids/no kids, can follow on the path to #MadeForMore. And who out there doesn't want to keep moving forward, doesn't want to get out of the rut, doesn't want to get rid of the voices telling them they aren't good enough? GO get the book (both if you haven't read GWYF), grab a highlighter and some sticky notes and get to work, with the help of your pal Rachel, on becoming the best version of you!

Once again, Rachel Hollis brings the fire! She inspires with her humble realistic approach. She's honest and raw that these are the strategies that worked for her. I couldn't put this book down, I love her practical and simple tips for helping you to achieve your goals. I took so many notes and immediately started implementing her ideas into my daily life.

Holy. Hannah. My world was rocked with Girl Wash Your Face-it was like Rachel Hollis was talking right to me helping me untangle all the crazy that was stuck in my head. No way could she be as impactful as the first time around, right? WRONG! Girl Stop Apologizing is like the perfect one two punch follow up. GWYF helped me dig myself out of some difficult baggage and GSA has me on FIRE to achieve all the "MORE" I want out of my life. I felt like I was in college again with all the highlighting and note taking I was doing. It was THAT good!! It was inspiring, tactical, helpful and full of heart. I'm an avid reader. I'm an ordinary woman reaching for an extraordinary life and these books hit me like no other. I highly recommend Girl Stop Apologizing to all my girlfriends out there just wanted to reach higher and achieve their dreams.

If you liked Girl, Wash Your Face, you will like Girl, Stop Apologizing. This book is written for every woman who wants to achieve a goal but keeps giving up on herself and her dream. Rachel tells you in hard hitting fashion how to break through the excuses and finally reach your goals. She is your cheerleader and is rooting for you if you will take the steps to move forward and get beyond the excuses. I particularly liked the chapter on health and am going to put some of her suggestions into play this week. My one negative is that I felt like the information was a bit repetitive. Maybe it’s because I’ve followed Rachel for a while and she’s actually read snippets from the book in her morning show. I received an advanced reader copy of this book.
