About the Author


Athlon Sports is a publisher of preseason, single-title sports annuals, covering professional and college athletics and distributed throughout North America and Europe. Founded in 1967, they are now the largest sports magazine in the U.S., and have won Publisher of the Year, Magazine of the Year, and an Emmy Award. They are based primarily in Nashville, Tennessee. Trev Alberts is the director of athletics for the University of Nebraska–Omaha. He is a former college football TV commentator who has worked for CNN, ESPN, College Sports Television, and CBS Sports. He was honored with the Dick Butkus Award as a linebacker for the University of Nebraska during his NCAA career, and was an All-American Athlete. He lives in Omaha, Nebraska.
