This is an adorable book that helps children with counting. It takes you through people in the family picking different items from the garden.
Excellent beginner reader and counting book. The number is displayed on each page along with dots to count the number. Easy to follow and understand. The end of the book tells fun facts about the vegetables that were used for counting. A puzzle/seek game at the end of the book will have its readers referring back to the pages in the book to find hidden pictures. The child reader and adult reader can share more time counting by doing the Observation Walk discussed at the end of the book, too. This book also contains a glossary and a named website that its readers can use to find other websites related to this book. This is a great book for parents and younger children to read and do together.
