Warren Miller was born in Hollywood in 1924. He premiered his first annual ski film in 1950, and over the next five-plus decades millions of skiers and snowboarders flocked to his films, worshipping his unique sense of humor, candor and adventure. His company produced more than 500 films in all, and Warren also wrote eight books. Warren was inducted into the U.S. Ski Hall of Fame in 1978, and now lives in Big Sky, Montana, and Orcas Island, Washington, with his wife, Laurie.
