An affectionate and very informative biography of Britain's best-loved steeplejack, who died in 2004 just after he collected his MBE. David Hall directed the much-loved last series of Fred Dibnah BBC documentaries which brought Britain's industrial archeology to life. A must-read for anyone who has ever seen Fred Dibnah, read anything about him or has an interest in Britain's rich industrial history, which he brought to life and ensured it wasn't forgotten.
