This book and the others in the 'Wild Baby Animals' series all do a good job of presenting facts about young animals in a setting appealing to babies and toddlers. Animal photos are offset against simple illustrated backgrounds, which works well to emphasize the animal. Language too is simple and matter-of-fact. Information on the animal's relationship to its parents, its sleeping habits, and so on are given. The approach is to give an animal a name (for instance, 'Fox' stars 'Rusty'. Mention is made of the fact that some of the animals in the series hunt. In 'Tiger', for instance, mention is made of the cub's teeth and claws as useful in hunting. My toddler doesn't seem to find this worrisome, and it doesn't bother me, but buyers who would prefer to avoid such things should not buy 'Tiger' and 'Fox'. 'Chimp' is fine, and I assume that 'Elephant', which I have not yet read, is as well.
