Okay, so, I kept reading this book thinking there has to be an easier way to become healthier. While this book has some good information, I won't lie, it is difficult to follow. It's far too complicated for the average person who wants to eat healthy yet not have to purchase sets of spoons, measuring scale, glucose machine etc. It seems like a much more complicated version of the Atkins Diet. After years of struggling to lose weight and improve my overall help, I am no longer trying to lose weight to be skinny, I am looking to be healthy. I have two beautiful daughters and I want to watch them grow up and have a healthier body image than I did growing up. If I could recommend a good book it would be The Hungry Chick Dieting Solution. I ordered it at the same time as I ordered Fat For Fuel. It offers a common sense approach to weight loss. It doesn't reinvent the wheel, but honestly shows you what works from somebody who has been there and struggled with their weight. I won't lie I saw the reviews and honestly I was skeptical at first. But, after taking the seven day challenge, I can say it works. I have only lost four pounds, but four pounds is four pounds. Do yourself a favor and give it a chance just like I did. See for yourself what can happen.

Surprised author not a fan of statins inview of their effectiveness in reducing cardiovascular events ln people with a prior event or diabetes. The effectiveness of cholesterol reduction on these events is also supported by the use of the new meds which prevent ldl receptor removal.
