Perhaps Madonna's best collective work, with ALW setting the stage,

Though I haven't heard other recordings, Madonna is wonderful as Eva Perón. Antonio Banderas is awesome, along with other cast selections. The songs are beautiful, my favorite being Requiem for Evita. I reccomend this to anyone.
