You blew it! You had all this data and all you do is provide a few percentages. It looks very amateur. Why didn't you hire a professional statistician to synthesize the data? The Millionaire Next Door by Thomas J. Stanley still remains the predominant book on millionaires. Everyday Millionaire doesn't even come close. It's fluff.
I was deeply disappointed with this book. There was so much hype about this being the largest study of millionaires, and then there were almost no presentation or analyses of the data. This is fine if you need a motivational book to make you envision becoming a millionaire, but as to setting a road map or sharing any of the data or how it was compiled, this is a total miss. The marketing for this was claiming that this book would supplant "The Millionaire Next Door", but it fell far short. If you have ever listened to Dave Ramsey's podcasts then you don't need to buy this book- you already know what's in it. Also- if you're on Baby Step 2 and trying to get out of debt, consider using your local library rather than buying it if you must read this. Come on people!
Chris has written a most insightful book. You don't have to aspire to be a millionaire, but he has facts and figures to help you go in that direction. Well done. Highly recommend this book to anyone.
