This box contains four lift-the-flap books that feature Elmo. They are written and illustrated to match the Elmo's World segment of Sesame Street; just as in the television show, each book has a theme of the day, as it were. The four topics are babies, puppies, food, and balls. As with other Sesame Street products, these stories put a premium on education and learning. Since this is based on Elmo's World, everything is aimed for a young audience, delivering simple facts about the topic at hand with Elmo's charming naivete. This set of books is a good choice for those little fans of Sesame Street in your life - they are fun and educational.

My grandson is 18 months old and LOVES this 4 book set.The pages are thicker -made for smaller hands that may have difficulty with depth perception and turning thinner pages. The 4 books come in a small box that snaps closed and is easy for him to carry. And he does. He's a huge ' Elmo fan' So if you have a child that is, this will be perfect. AND it only took 4 days for delivery.

My 6 month old LOVES this set, as does my 4 year old. I was looking for Elmo books since my 6 month old is in love with him so much and this set was perfect. The text is simple and the pictures are engaging. Plus there's lots to do with all of those little flaps to lift.

My 2-year-old reads these books every night, no matter how many other books she and her dad read together first. She sleeps with them.

My daughter is 14 months old and Elmo is her best friend. My aunt sent her Elmo's World Love book for Valentine's Day and she loved it. I bought her this book set and it was perfect for her seeing as how she loves babies and puppies and food! She sits and lifts the flaps and talks in her own jibberish reading the books to herself. I recommend these books to any parents with children who love Elmo and books. Also great for infants that are being introduced to books. They are very colorful to catch their eyes and a big suprise when they lift the flaps.

A typical lift-the-flap book allows for some sort of suspense or question before the flap is lifted. They're usually part of the story. But in this book, the flaps seemed unnecessary. My two year old found this book boring and hasn't expressed interest in reading it again. There's different activities suggested in it as well (crawl like a crab, hop like a bunny, etc.) that seemed inappropriate because reading time is sitting and relaxing time. We don't get up and do an activity after every page only to settle back down again! We were disappointed.

My son received this for his first birthday in October and he loves it. The flaps are big and easy enough for him to lift. This book keeps him occupied in the car and in the stroller. He never seems to tire from it. Although he did manage to rip one of the flaps off but he still loves it anyway.
