Eleven Miles South of Half Moon Bay is a shout of joy and a howl of grief. It is a single golden instant and all eternity. It is a story mundane as boys playing marbles yet vast as life and death. It is the story of two free spirits: cousins for a mortal moment, brothers forever.

Great content. I went to school with Bill and his aspect on the times of the book was remarkable. Should be read by anyone who lived through these events.

This book really made me think of how important family is. This was a book that I couldn't put down. Very detailed and really made you feel as if you were there through all the up's and down's that came their way.

Eleven Miles South of Half Moon Bay is a glimpse into the heart and soul of author Bill Sullivan. As he struggles to understand the loss of his beloved cousin Bruce Stevenson, Bill takes us on an amazing journey that spans three decades. I couldn't put this one down. Tears streaming from my eyes as my heart plummeted along with Bill's on that fateful day Bruce left this world behind.

This book took me back to the days of my youth. Every Chapter was an adventure. Tom Sawyer of the 1960's.
