Bestowed with superpowers when a lab experiment goes unexpectedly awry, an average beagle becomes the savior of Capitol City as everyone's favorite canine do-gooder embarks on his first-ever live-action adventure. The maniacal Dr. Simon Barsinister (Peter Dinklage) was on the verge of a revolutionary discovery when a sudden mishap gave birth to Underdog (voice of Jason Lee). Not only can this remarkable mutt now leap tall buildings in a single bound, be he can let his "best friend" know precisely what's on his mind in no uncertain terms as well. When Dr. Barsinister and his overgrown crony Cad (Patrick Warburton) threaten to destroy Capitol City, Underdog must leap into action in order to protect the frightened citizens and ensure that no harm comes to pretty Polly Purebred (voice of Amy Adams).

I throughly enjoyed the cast of this movie, both the people and the voices. They added a unique factor I really appreciated. Overall, a great movie.

Underdog is the best canine movie that has made from classic cartoons to the new millennium film.

A great family film that does justice to the old Underdog cartoons. The casting was perfect for Simon Barsinister and Cad, and I love Jim Belushi so you can't go wrong. Extras: There are only three deleted scenes and they don't amount to much other than the second scene which I feel introduced Jack and Molly better than the scene included in the film. The films main theme is created in a fun rap that is included as a music video for this DVD. Finally the Diary of a Dog Actor is quite funny and gives you little extras within the extra to find out more about the movie, actors and Underdog.

I watched ''Underdog'', with my dad and my brother in August at the movies. I have to admit watching ''Underdog'' feels like pins and needles stabbing your back. The cast was awful. Through out the movie the cast tried to crack a few lame jokes but nothing funny. The special effects were extremely lame. The plot was very dry. Watching Underdog's insides become mutaited is extremely gross I almost vomited. This movie was really a waste of time. The soundtrack was awful they played the annoying song ''Underdog'' like a hundred times. For a superhero you except a big dog like a golden retriever but no we got a beagel. Poor Job!
