As portrayed by Corin Nemec, Parker Lewis is a cool, hip, junior at Santo Domingo High who, along with rock 'n' roller Mikey (William Jayne) and their quintessential nerd assistant Jerry (Troy Slaten), makes light of authority by driving his disciplinarian principal Grace Musso (Melanie Chartoff) and her young "special obedience helper" Frank Lemmer (Taj Johnson) up the wall with their shenanigans. Parker finds an unlikely ally in misunderstood meathead and perpetual junior Kubiac (Abraham Benrubi) and is often beset by his scheming younger sister Shelly Lewis (Maia Brewton). On top of its memorable characters and dialogue, Parker Lewis Can't Lose is a pop culture time capsule for the end of the '80s and the dawn of the '90s, referencing current events and cultural trends and including cameos from music stars like Ozzy Osbourne and "Weird Al" Yankovic. Notable actors who appeared on the show included cast regular Tim Stack as well as guest stars Barbara Billingsley, Anne Bloom, David Faustino, Gerrit Graham, Penny Johnson, Jerry Mathers, and Rodney Allen Rippy. this 4-disc collection contains all 26 episodes from 1990-91's Season 1, a booklet with introduction written by creator Clyde Phillips, plus the bonus feature "A Look Back At Parker Lewis Can’t Lose With The Cast And Creators" and audio commentaries.
