Rob Epstein and Jeffrey Friedman's fascinating documentary about gays who helped fight the Nazis, Paragraph 175, comes to DVD with a widescreen anamorphic transfer that preserves the original theatrical aspect ratio of 1.85:1. English, German, and French soundtracks are rendered in Dolby Digital Stereo. English subtitles are accessible. Supplemental materials include a commentary track recorded by both directors, as well as the film's producers. Interviews that did not make the final cut, and the theatrical trailer round out this excellent release from New Yorker.
