I admit, I have not once read a book by Mark Twain. But this documetary captivated me in a way that I cannot explain. If you watch it, you learn the very intresting, trying, and heartfelt story behind the writer of such famous novels as Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn. There is wit, history and emotion in this documentary that all will find, whether you be an aficinado or one yet to hear his name. I found the documentary to be very thought provoking as well as quite comical. Basically, all aspects of a well made documentary are present in Ken Burns' ''Mark Twain''. The money you spend on this DVD (or VHS as the case might be) will not go to waste, for all that you will take away from this documentary is well worth any amount of money you could ever spend. If you have not yet experienced this Ken Burns master piece, do not delay. Those short four hours of your time will be enough to change the rest of your life.
