Ridley Scott's feminist action film G.I. Jane comes to DVD with a widescreen transfer that preserves the original theatrical aspect ratio of 2.35:1. A closed-captioned English soundtrack is rendered in Dolby Digital 5.1, while a French soundtrack has been recorded in Dolby Digital Stereo. Spanish subtitles are accessible. Supplemental features are limited to the original theatrical trailer. Fans of Demi Moore will certainly want to take a look at this disc, but those who failed to see it in the theaters probably will not find anything to interest them in this DVD.

This is my very favorite movie of all time. It empowers me not only as a woman, but as an individual and a human being. I've too often used the excuse that I can't do this or that because I'm a woman. Since watching G.I.Jane, I've gotten braver. I'm not quite the coward that I used to be. Yes, it's just a movie, but it changed my life--for the better.

I was blown away by this movie. I put off watching it for so long because I thought it was going to be another 'girl power' movie. Boy was I wrong. Although it did have a little of that sense to it, that was miles from the focus. It was more about one woman's drive and ambition to prove people wrong and prove is just as capable as a man. I was left on the edge of my seat the entire 2 hours and 8 minutes of this movie. Don't make the mistake I did and overlook this movie with preconceptions. It's worth everybody's time. I gave this movie 5 stars, and I don't just give those away easily.

This is how men should view women. This movie isnt only about how women really can be tough, but that females should be looked at equally by the males. Men, women, couples, kids, everyone will like this movie.
