BETTER THAN THE ORIGINAL! I'll get flamed for that statement, sure, but it's true. We all view the 80s Arnold movie through rose-colored glasses, it was fine for it's time, but...this one is better. In pretty much every way, from the very first minute where so see Ron Perlman being awesome, to Momoa more than holding his own as Conan. Look, is it great art? Probably not. But it's got a dude with huge muscles swinging a sword, a hot princess fighting for her life, evil necromancers, and gonzo fantasy locations - what the heck else do you want from a Conan movie?
