Captain America: The Winter Soldier 4.8 out of 5 based on 0 ratings. 4 reviews.

The best Marvel film in the comics universe. The Winter Soldier has a tight and relevant script that puts it above the entertaining but lighter Avengers. The plot is not dumb downed, and the characters are fully developed. Even the action scenes are a step above the typical Marvel fare. The whole sequence in the beginning with Fury (Samuel L Jackson) is one of the best and most exciting shoot outs that you will ever see. The Winter Soldier himself is a fascinating enigma that is part of a larger conspiracy. The directors Russo have hit a high point that others will be hard pressed to match. Not even their own Captain America Civil War could reach the heights of this more intelligent and timely film.

A huge crowd pleaser but perhaps not as good as the first installment, yet it brings much of the excitement generated by The Avengers. For loads of fun in a sci-fi action movie, look up the Captain America Winter Soldier detailed review at the following link, there is an exclusive music editorial presentation (you will need a good quality audio headset and caution it plays much better at high audio volume): http://midnighttracks.net/2014/rdr46.html (review) http://midnighttracks.net/2014/capam/ (video) Tell us what you think in West Coast Midnight Run's blog: http://citadelcg.midnighttracks.net/moviesmusic

Found this to be even better than the first one. Maybe even Avengers. The tone, the action, the characters and well, the story was really good. One of the better superhero movies.

This movie is just fantastic.  Falcon/Sam Wilson is a brilliant and much needed addition to the Marvel cinematic universe, Black Widow/Natasha was in rare, new and interesting form in this installment and we get to see a side of Cap like never before. The Winter Soldier/Bucky was just as heartbreaking as expected.
