This package from the Timeless Media Group brings into a single box set two biographical documentaries about heroes of 20th Century Aviation. It begins with a film about Howard Hughes, The American Aviator: The Howard Hughes Story. Maverick inventor, engineer, movie director, and oil billionaire, Hughes also designed a fantastic series of planes including the legendary Spruce Goose, and set many air speed and endurance records. The second half of the program focuses on Charles Lindbergh, with the film Charles Lindbergh: The Lone Eagle - a look at the man who made history as the first to fly solo across the Atlantic Ocean to Paris. As an added bonus, the set also contains The Outlaw, the controversial Howard Hughes western that made Jane Russell a star.
