There's no need for exaggeration when declaring All in the Family 1 of America's best sitcoms ever! I was a teenager when these programs 1st aired and it remains 1 of my all time favorite shows and my favorite sitcom ever! Jean Stapleton's characterization of Edith Bunker is something you do not want to miss! My favorite episode of any sitcom ever is "Edith's Accident" in which she dented someone's car with a can of peaches. I'm 47 years old and nothing has ever made me laugh as much as that 1 episode of television in my life! Buy this DVD set! You have my personal guarantee that you'll love this show. The entire cast is funny but Edith is a scream!!!! I'm still laughing!

This is an excellent series. Nothing produced today has this quality. Unfortunately, today, everyone has to be politically correct. Archie Bunker has a right to say what he wants to, and he does. I am glad to see that only one side of each DVD was used. Some other shows are on two-sided DVDs that are difficult to use.
