As if raising her son, training her rambunctious poodle for the show ring, and grooming fellow handler, Sam Driver, for romance aren't enough, Melanie Travis's entree into the exclusive Belle Haven Kennel Club has been met with a grisly murder. As Melanie investigates, the truth about forged pedigrees and illegal show practices come to light. And soon, Melanie finds herself moving closer to a dogged killer who's desperate enough to strike again.

Keep them coming

I have read quite a few mysteries of this type. I must congratulate the author, because this doesn't fit into the usual boring mystery formula I have noticed in so many of them, yet without resorting to pulling the killer out of thin air, or, another disappointment, having the killer revealed only when s/he attacks the clueless protagonist.

Natalie Travis investigates another mysterious murder. Another excellent story in the series & well worth reading, wether your a dog lover or not. I highly recommend this book.

This book was a really great read. I read a lot of different types of books and this is a great author.

Poor puppies! ( I only put one star because I had to rate it. I wish I could give it none!)

This book flat-out sucks! Each character in here is no more than a stupid caricature. The plot is dull and far-fetched and you don't care what happens. A fourth grader could write a more interesting story than this. I DON'T RECOMMEND.
