Disarming the Debt Bomb based on 0 ratings. 1 reviews.
Like most Americans, I have accepted most of what we have been told by officials and the press concerning the condition of our economy only becouse there has been no other voice to dispute their claims. Until now ... This book is a true revelation. It helps to explain why we should disbelieve what the government is telling us regarding the state of our economy. While it may indeed be good for some, it is decidedly terrible for so many more of us as the huge inflationary bubble we are in nears the bursting point. And all the growing chaos, insecurity, stress, rage and instability in America rather proves it: Just like the 'Roaring 20's' prior to the crash of 1929 and the great depression, McAuliffe says we are on the road to real trouble. I am also somewhat reluctant to admit that for the first time I know know what inflation really is. I also now know that there has never been an economy in history driven by more inflation than our present one. McAuliffe shows how inflation, and its consequences, are responsible for almost everything that has gone terribly wrong in America. From the disintegration of family, to kids shooting each other to death in terrifying numbers, to drugs, sex, and achohol abuses, to the destruction of our industrial base and all the good jobs that go with it, it is all a result of this enormous spiral of debt which can only destroy this democracy if we don't stop it. At the expense of most Americans, the government and media are promoting and perpetuating this debt con. It is for the same reason tobacco executives stood up before congress and lied when they said that smoking was not a health hazard. Those telling us that everything is ok are profiting from inflation and delt - at our expense. Buy this book, read it and give it to your friends. We are in trouble, but McAuliffe gives us a way out.
