Busy machines for busy kids!

"Diggers are good at dig, dig, digging,

scooping up the earth and lifting and tipping.

They make huge holes with their dig, dig, digging.

They can work all day."

Trucks and tractors, fire engines and helicopters-they all like to work hard. But after a long, happy day of beep-beeping and vroom-vrooming, even the busiest engines need to rest. This bright, bouncy, noise-filled book brings together all the vehicles that children adore.

This is a great picture book for young readers who enjoy learning about trucks, tractors, fire engines and helicopters! This bright and cheerful book brings all the vehicles along in one story that kids will love! It shows children what each vehicle can be capable of!

This has got to be the most read book in our house! Our little guy has this book almost completely memorized. The pictures are bright and full of life, and the text flows so beautifully. I do need to get a new copy though, as our little guy has been actively reading and looking at it everyday so its a little torn and in very bad shape. We got the book when he was 12 months and now he is 24 months. This is a must have in every child's library!

My almost 3 year old and I love this book. I love the rhythm of the text, my son loves the pictures. We especially enjoy the last page where I ask my son to point out the different trucks..some of them are half hidden so it's a little like I Spy.

A smash hit with our 1 1/2 year old. Bright, bold illustrations. Fun text; great for learning wonderful sounding words like "gobble".

My two year old son loves this book. His older brother (four years old) also really enjoys it. The story is simple and has a wonderful rhythm to it, and the illustrations are great!!
