It's 1988 and Marcus Lopez's first year at Kings
Dominion, the elite academy where damaged teenagers are forged into the world's deadliest assassins, is coming to a close, and the final exam is murder...literally. What few friends, what little love Marcus managed to scrape together become his greatest weakness, as the school descends into chaos. Pass or Fail, no one survives the Freshman Finals without getting blood on their hands.
From writer Rick Remender and artist Wes
Craig comes the darkest chapter of DEADLY CLASS yet.

Best chapter yet!! The violence, mayhem, and twists are all revved up!! Marcus and friends have to deal with a major change to the freshman class that will alter everything. Remender hones in on the late 80s feel so well, without it seeming like a gimmick. Overall, another fantastic piece. A+
Bloodbath and slaughter This volume kicks off with the freshman hunt of the rats in the school for assassins. The body count is high and the action is gory as Marcus and his “friends” fight for survival. One long running battle takes place with betrayal and double-crossing figuring highly. To be honest, all the bloodshed gets a bit boring after a while and I was tempted to abandon this halfway through. It just gets more and more grisly and the ending would perhaps suggest that this is the last in the series. Disappointing.
