These intimate, never-before seen pictures of Bruce are crisp, startleing, and edgy. The New York rooftop series is magnificent, as are the photos of the band and Bruce just 'hanging out'. Sometimes the mood is brooding, with Bruce looking right at you with his 'sharp eyes of truth'. This is a true picture book for the fans, with affectionate and well narrated anecdotes of the photo sessions by photographer Frank Stefanko. Frank also chronicles his friendship with the Boss during those 'Days of Hope and Dreams'. A must have in your music library.
