What a delightful book! I picked this little jewel up off the bargain book table at my neighborhood bookseller and have loved reading every page. I look forward each evening to ending the day with a few words about country life, country animals, country Christmases and country comforts from Jo Northrop. I know this is a book I will read again and again when a stressful day in the city has left me weary and longing for a comforting trip to the country.
