I am taking an online class to get certified. Many times I grab A+ Certification to gain clarity to a subject that the on line course leaves a bit vague. Having bought the eBook version I missed out on a CD or DVD that comes with the dead tree version. Based on the context the book references a CD or DVD, I wish I had killed a tree. The book can be used a reference or read it. The book sequentially presents the material starting with construction of a PC from inside to the Internet. Knowing nothing is not a problem. Kudos

This book is very well-written and instructional. It is chock full of technical details with the occasional byte of humor. The authors have gone to great length to make it as informative as possible.

Book is easy to use and understand. I like the flow of information and the mini test after each section. Only problem is I use the nook so I can not see the illustrations in larger print.
